Journal bearing
These types of bearings are very important due to their application, which is to prevent radial type vibration. This issue is done by creating a thin layer of oil between the pads of this type of bearing and the shaft so that the shaft can rotate easily, so they must be manufactured with high precision.
Thrust Bearing

Labyrinth Seal
This type of leakage seals is in the form of teeth and is placed with a distance of less than 0.3 mm from the shaft, and the fluid passes through this small distance and the pressure decreases due to the vortex that is created. In the next stages, the pressure will decrease again and the designer’s request will be met.
Oil seal ring
This type of seals is installed on the outer part of the Cooplings at the end of the shaft. Their mechanism of action is almost similar to labyrinths, with the difference that in these types of floods, oil is injected with a higher pressure, and as a result, the oil acts as a barrier to the internal gas and prevents leakage.
